Interesting but a bit tangled up!
Almost the same design, with some extra applique in the border, and the colours have been stirred a bit!

Very dark, but very interesting.
I wonder if these designs would be as interesting if they faded a lot.
Even darker, but I like it!
read moreThe first design today is rather smart.
The way the pieced blocks frame the applique blocks in the main part of the quilt is very interesting.

Love the first design, and think it would look great in pretty colours, bright colours … any colours … providing the contrast is right.
Slightly more masculine than the first, and I like it.

I cannot think of a word to describe the design above, but I know that boring is certainly not the word.

I love the design above! It would appeal to me in whatever fabrics in any colours were used.
The final design is a bit busy … would appeal to me more with less applique, or different applique blocks.

I like it! I have never been a fan of quilts made with one block design repeated all over.
I much prefer to break the monotony of stitching up a great pile of identical blocks, and I like seeing the interest just a few different blocks added to the quilt top make.
I love the second design!
